Tech support Engineer

We are looking for a Linux Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot Linux-based systems, and ensure smooth server and network operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, networking concepts, and customer support.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems.
- Troubleshoot Linux server and application issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure server availability.
- Manage users, groups, file permissions, and system services.
- Perform software installations, updates, and patch management.
- Diagnose network connectivity and DNS-related issues.
- Handle incidents and service requests through ticketing systems.
- Work with senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and maintain technical records.
What We're Looking For
- Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.).
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, and basic networking.
- Knowledge of shell scripting (basic Bash) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and log analysis.
- Basic understanding of virtualization and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
