### Role Overview The **Network Engineer** will be responsible for managing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role involves working with **Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet** technologies, along with VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security. The engineer will also handle network incidents, troubleshoot connectivity issues, implement configuration changes, and ensure the **availability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure**.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper network devices.
  • Configure and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
  • Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, and switching.
  • Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPN and site-to-site VPN connections.
  • Perform network troubleshooting related to connectivity, routing, switching, and firewall issues.
  • Troubleshoot network outages and identify the root cause of incidents.
  • Manage firewall policies, NAT, security rules, and related configurations.
  • Monitor and respond to network alerts and incidents.
  • Perform configuration changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain network documentation, configurations, and troubleshooting records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, ISPs, and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Follow network security and change-management procedures.
  • Participate in network implementation and infrastructure improvement projects.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–6 years of experience in Network Engineering/Support.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and ARP.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
  • Good knowledge of VLAN, STP, Trunking, Inter-VLAN Routing, and EtherChannel.
  • Understanding of OSPF, BGP, Static Routing, NAT, ACLs, and IPsec VPN.
  • Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot using ping, traceroute, logs, and packet captures.
